Go Travel Iceland was officially registered as a travel agent and tour operator here in Iceland on September 16th 2008.

Some people that come to Iceland „are just passing through“, but many stay longer, from one to three weeks or more. The average tour is about five days.

Overall, people are „amazed“ at what Iceland actually has to offer. The term „Amazing Iceland“ is the slogan of The Iceland Tourist Board.

Here we were, a travel destination that was rarely on anybody‘s “top 20 list“ of must visit travel destinations in the 20th century. Then suddenly became close to being on everybody‘s top 10 list in the 21st century.
